PuNTA DEL ESTE

A BIT ABOUT PUNTA DEL ESTE

Punta del Este is a coastal town 130km / 80 miles distance from Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay. Known for its beautiful beaches and people, the city hosts millions of guests between the months of November and February who come to enjoy their summer vacations. One thing that sets Punta apart is its vibe, chic and laid back. When it comes to the weather, it is quite unpredictable. November can still be a bit chilly, especially in the evenings (temperatures at night can drop to 57-60 °F / 14-16 °C). See the map above for a reference of the peninsula and below for some of our recommendations.
